Despite global commitments to gender equality, women remain underrepresented in key sectors such as maritime, energy, engineering, and public policy. June offers a unique convergence of observances that recognize the efforts of women navigating careers at sea and on land, in boardrooms and in the field. 

This webinar, “Anchored in Purpose: Women Leading the Charge on Land and Sea,” aims to spotlight resilient and impactful women shaping maritime, energy, engineering, and policy landscapes. It will provide a platform for dialogue, storytelling, and collaboration  inspiring current and future leaders to navigate boldly toward equity, innovation, and sustainability. 

Objectives 

1. Celebrate and amplify women’s leadership in maritime, energy (engineering), and governance. 
2. Facilitate cross-sector conversations around the challenges, innovations, and progress in gender inclusion. 

3. Inspire and mentor young professionals and students, especially women, to enter and thrive in technical and leadership roles. 
4. Highlight policy recommendations and best practices that support gender equity in these sectors.
